This Court is disposing of this writ petition with a direction to none else than the Deputy Commissioner, Budgam to call for the file of representation dated 21.02.2022 which was submitted by the three petitioners before the District Development Commissioner, Budgam whereupon endorsement was made for Naib Tehsildar concerned to carry out verification and report along with proper revenue extracts and also bearing some direction for the Tehsildar, Budgam to do course action but the petitioners found themselves in lurch by receiving no response and Sr. No. 2 Regular then landing themselves right in the present writ petition urging this Court to get the direction unto the Deputy Commissioner, Budgam to do what he is supposed to do i.e., of addressing and redressing the grievances of the Inhabitants of the district. 2. The petitioners in this writ petition came up with a grievance that their land comprising khasra No. 340 min of village Haripora to an extent of 4 feet x 70 feet came under road widening with effect from 2018 without any payment of compensation to them. 3. It is in this context that the three petitioners, who by birth are with physical condition which is known as ‘Dwarf’, were expecting the Deputy Commissioner, Budgam to spare time and energy for addressing their concern but that not taking place resulted in the institution of the present writ petition which is now getting disposal by virtue of a direction to the Deputy Commissioner, Budgam to dispose of the pending representation of the petitioners by affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners also and dispose of the matter within a period of one month from the date of appearance of the petitioners before him upon being summoned. 4. Disposed of. 5. A copy of this order be provided to Mr. Ilayas Laway, learned Government Advocate for the sake of notice and compliance on the part of the Deputy Commissioner, Budgam.
