25 Regular IN THE HIGH COURT OF JAMMU & KASHMIR AND LADAKH AT SRINAGAR CCP(S) 530/2021 in[WP(C) 2228/2019]] MANZOOR JABEEN AND ORS. ….. Petitioner (s) Through: None. V/s SHEETAL NANDA AND ORS. ….. Respondent(s) Through: Mr. Waseem Gull, GA. Coram: Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sanjay Dhar, Judge ORDER 18.04.2026 Through the medium of present petition, the petitioners are seeking implementation of order dated 30.07.2019 passed by the writ Court whereby the respondents were directed to accord consideration to the claim of the petitioners for grant of promotion to the post of Supervisor. The respondents have filed statement of facts in which it has been submitted that the matter regarding promotion of eligible candidates as per their seniority was placed before DPC/DLSC and five candidates as recommended by the District Programme Officer, Baramulla, were selected/appointed as Supervisors. It has been submitted that as per the list framed on the basis of initial engagement, petitioners were found not falling in the consideration zone as they were figuring much below the candidates who have been considered for selection/appointment as Supervisors by the Committee. In view of the above, the respondents have accorded consideration to the case of the petitioners for grant of promotion in terms of order of the writ Court. The same therefore stands complied with. Therefore, contempt proceedings against the respondents are dropped and the contempt petition is disposed of. (Sanjay Dhar) Judge SRINAGAR 18.04.2026 Aasif
