IN THE HIGH COURT OF ORISSA AT CUTTACK W.P.(C) No. 5341 of 2021 Iliajar Kalu …. Petitioner(s) None -versus- State of Odisha & Ors. …. Opposite Party(s) Mr. J.K. Bal, AGA CORAM: THE HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SIBO SANKAR MISHRA Order No. ORDER 19.03.2026 04. 1. The petitioner has invoked the writ jurisdiction of this Court, inter alia, making the following prayer:- “The petitioner, therefore, humbly prays that this Hon’ble Court may graciously be pleased to allow this petition by directing the police to take step including the registration of F.I.R. to save the petitioner’s family from harassment and inhuman torture through social boycott; And may pass any other appropriate order(s) as deems fit and proper in the interest of justice and equity.” 2. When the matter is taken up, none has appeared for the petitioner. It seems that the cause of action to file the writ petition does not survive and that’s the reason the petitioner is not interested to prosecute the case. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed.
