IN THE HIGH COURT OF ORISSA AT CUTTACK W.P(C) No. 3086 of 2021 Chintamani Barik & Others …. Petitioners Mr. A.K. Mohapatra, Advocate -versus- State of Odisha & Others …. Opp. Parties Mr. S.B. Panda, AGA CORAM: THE HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE CHITTARANJAN DASH Order No. ORDER 07.03.2026 01. 1. The present application has been filed as back as in the year 2021. The Office has reported defect, which has not been removed by the Petitioner till date. 2. So far as the prayer it appears that the Petitioner seeks for quashing of the Mutation Case No.222 of 2020 pending before the Tahasildar, Gopabandhu Nagar. The statutory provisions governing mutation proceedings provide an exhaustive mechanism for adjudication of such matters by the Tahasildar and, in the event of any grievance, by way of appeal before the Appellate Authority provided in the statute. 3. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain the present application and the same is disposed of with p. 2 liberty to the Petitioner to seek remedy avail under the relevant provisions of the Orissa Mutation Manual, 1962. 4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. (Chittaranjan Dash) Judge Sarbani Designation: Junior Stenographer
