At the outset, Mr. Vipin Tiwari, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, would submit that the petitioners may be allowed to avail the remedy available to them under Section 64 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (for short, ‘the Act of 2013’), by approaching the authority concerned for enhancement of compensation. 2. The prayer is fair and reasonable. 3. If the petitioners approach the authority by submitting an application under Section 64 of the Act of 2013 along with an application for condonation of delay in filing the said application, such authority will consider and decide the application for condonation of delay in accordance with law and thereafter, the application under Section 64 of the Act of 2013, in accordance with law, expeditiously, but not later than 60 days from the date of receipt of the application. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matters. 4. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ petition stands finally disposed of.
