The learned Sr. Advocate appearing for the petitioners submitted that the present petition has been file with a prayer for quashing and setting aside the impugned notification dated 14.09.2021 issued by the Chief Executive Officer Chandel, Manipur notifying for filling up of 125 vacant post under the Autonomous District Council, Chandel and the employment notice dated 16.09.2021 issued by the District Employment Officer, Thoubal inviting all the job seeker through the employment exchange for sponsoring their names for filling up of 750 posts in the 6 Autonomous District Council, Manipur. The learned Sr. Advocate Lucy Gurum ayum Digitally signed by Lucy Gurumayum Date: 2026.09.07 10:10:45 +05'30' WP(C) No. 792 of 2021 Page 2 submitted that in the affidavit in opposition file on behalf of the respondent no. 1 and 2, a letter dated 23.10.2021 from the Under Secretary (TA & Hills), Government of Manipur addressed to the Chief Executive Officer (Chandel, Senapati, Churachandpur, Thoubal and Ukhrul) Autonomous District Council, Manipur have been enclosed as annexure-R/3. In the said letter the Chief Executive Officer of the aforesaid 6 Autonomous District Council have been informed that the recruitment process for filling up of 750 vacant posts through direct recruitment under 6 Autonomous District Council of Manipur has been suspended until further order. The learned Sr. Advocate further submitted that as the impugned notification had been suspended by the authorities, the petitioners may be given leave to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to file fresh one, if the needs so arise. Mr. Th. Vashum, learned GA appearing for the respondents submitted that he has no objection. Leave granted, the present writ petition is hereby dismissed as being withdraw with liberty as sought for.
