ORDER (ORAL) [1] Heard Mr. Kh. Tomba, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs. RK Emily, learned Deputy GA appearing for the respondents. [2] By an order dated 18.02.2026, this matter was referred to the Mediation Centre, High Court of Manipur for exploring the possibility of an amicable settlement of the dispute between the parties through mediation proceedings. The mediation was successful and the parties have arrived at an agreement and settled the dispute amicably. The Mediator’s report dated 25.05.2026 was submitted by the Secretary, High Court Legal Services Committee, High Court of Manipur, under cover of a letter dated 27.05.2026.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned GA appearing for the respondents jointly submitted that the present writ petition can be disposed of in terms of the settlement arrived at between the parties. WP (C) No. 169 of 2021 Page 5

Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties, the present writ petition is disposed of with the observation that the settlement agreement arrived at between the parties will be part and parcel of this order. [5]
