Bordoloi, learned Standing Counsel, Revenue Department for the respondent no. 2 have submitted that in this writ petition, the petitioner has sought for a direction to release a sum of Rs. 2,00,000/- as ex-gratia in terms of a Notification dated 14.11.2014 of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Assam and therefore, otherwise also, the writ petition suffers from lack of merit, as the issue has been decided by a Coordinate Bench and also, by the Division Bench of this Court. As the petitioner is not found to be interested to pursue the writ petition, which is apparent from their repeated absence on two dates and therefore, the writ petition, without going into the merit of the case, is dismissed for non-prosecution.
