Also heard Mr. K Parashar and Ms. A Gayan, Learned CGCs appearing for the respondents in the above noted writ petitions. This Court, vide order dated 31.03.2026, noticing the issue arising in the above noted writ petitions, had requested the Learned Standing Counsel, Assam State School Education Board, (ASSEB), to have High School Leaving Certificate (Private) Examination Certificate, of the petitioners, verified to ascertain the authenticity of the same. The matter was accordingly, directed to be listed on 24.04.2026. However, a mention was made for listing the matter today, under the heading “Withdrawal”. Mr. A Ganguly, Learned Counsel for the Petitioners, in the above noted writ petitions, submits that the petitioners desires not to press the matter any further. Accordingly, he prays that he be permitted to withdraw the above noted writ petitions. Prayer is not objected to by the Learned Counsel for the Respondents. In view of the submissions of the Learned Counsel for the Petitioner in the above noted writ petitions, the above noted writ petitions stands dismissed and it is clarified that no liberty has been granted to the petitioners to re- file the same on the issue involved, herein.
