Mr. S Borthakur, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the matter, on being referred for mediation, the parties had appeared before the mediator and during the course of the mediation process, the matter was amicably settled between the parties. He submits that a memorandum of settlement under Section 89 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 was also filed by the parties to the proceeding. 2. Mr. S Borthakur, learned counsel for the petitioner, on instruction, submits that the respondent authorities have already issued orders authorizing to the petitioner compassionate family pension and the grievance of the petitioner is redressed. However, he submits that the amounts due have not been credited to the account of the petitioner in terms of the settlement arrived at. 3. Mr. P Nayak, learned Addl. Advocate General appearing for the State respondents and Mr. A Baruah, learned Standing counsel, Accountant General, A.N.E, Assam submits that the amount involved shall be credited to the account of the petitioner within a period of 1(one) month from today. 4. In view of the above submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties, there being no live issue arising in the petition for adjudication, the present Writ Petition need not be detained any further. Accordingly, the respondent authorities are directed to Page No.# 4/4 release to the petitioner her dues in terms of the settlement arrived at in the matter and the petitioner, for the purpose, shall extend full cooperation in the matter and if so mandated, shall appear before the Treasury Officer, Kamrup (M) within a period of 7(seven) days from today. 5.
