As per the latest status report filed by the Deputy Secretary to the Government Department of Social Welfare, Civil Secretariat, J&K, Srinagar, the selection process for selection and appointment of the Chairpersons/Members of the Commission of Protection of Child Rights has been completed, however, the result could not be declared and final selection list published because of interim directions dated 07.11.2025, passed in WP(C) No. 3088/2025. 02. Since the aforesaid petition has already been dismissed as infructuous and the interim direction vacated, as such, there is no impediment for declaring the result of selections and making the appointments.
