The petitioner, through the medium of the present petition, is seeking release of unpaid honorarium to her from the date she was appointed or from the date she has joined her duties as Anganwadi Helper. 02. On 4th of October, 2024, a direction was issued to the respondents to file an affidavit indicating therein with regard to the duration for which the petitioner had discharged her duties and honorarium payable to her for that period. 03. Pursuant to the said direction, an affidavit has been filed by respondent Nos 1 to 4 on 17th of March 2025. In the said Affidavit, it has been submitted that the petitioner has discharged her duties from September, 2018 to November 2022. For this period, a total amount of Rs. 1, 26,400/- is payable to the petitioner and out of which Rs. 54,250 already stands paid to her, leaving a balance amount of Rs. 72,150. 04. In view of the aforesaid affidavit filed by respondent Nos 1 to 4, the petition is disposed of at this stage with a direction to the respondents to release the unpaid honorarium of Rs. 72,150 to the petitioner most expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months from the date a copy of this order is served upon the respondents. In default the petitioner shall be entitled to interest @ 6% per annum from the date of this order till realization of the amount. 05. Disposed of along with connected CM (s).
