The petitioner has preferred the instant writ petition seeking quashment of list of Nigrani Badmash in Police Station Baradwar which is pending since 2002. 3. As directed by this Court with regard to list of Nigrani Badmash of the petitioner, State has filed affidavit on 27.03.2026. Para 3 of the said affidavit states as under:- “3.That, the respondents, in compliance of this Hon’ble Court order dated 24.03.2026, executed an affidavit and furnish some documents which clearly show that presently, there is no involvement of the petitioner in any kind of criminal case, though he was somehow involved in facing criminal proceedings up to 2019 and now his name has been deleted from the Nigrani Badmash as the same has been enlisted in the list of Mafi Badmash (‘A’ Category) and thus the proceeding for deleting the name of the petitioner from Nigrani, has been initiated.” 4. It appears from the affidavit of the State/respondents that there is no involvement of the petitioner in any kind of criminal case, though he was somehow involved in facing criminal proceedings upto 2019 and now his name has been deleted from the Nigrani Badmash as the same has been enlisted in the list of Mafi Badmash (‘A’ Category) and thus the proceeding for deleting the name of the petitioner from Nigrani, has been initiated. 5. Since the proceedings has been initiated for deleting the name of the petitioner from the Nigrani Badmash, 3 WPC No. 306 of 2020 respondents are directed to conclude the proceedings and pass appropriate order in this regard within one month from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 6.
