Present Ms. Y. Jinita, learned counsel for the applicant in MC(RFA) No. 1 of 2026; Mrs. G. Pushpa, learned counsel for the appellant in RFA No. 1 of 2020; Mr. I. Sandeep, learned counsel for the respondent nos. 3 to 7 in MC(RFA) No. 1 of 2026. [2]
The applicant has also filed an application being MC(RFA) No. 20 of 2019 for filing 3rd party leave for preferring appeal against the impugned
judgment & decree dated 17.08.2019 passed by Ld. Civil Judge (Sr. Divn.), Imphal East, Manipur in O.S. No. 35 of 2013, 36 of 2013 & 80 of 2013. During the pendency of the application, the counsel for the appellant/applicant filed MC(RFA) No. 1 of 2026 for determining from being the counsel on behalf of the appellant as they lost contact with the appellant. It is submitted that this Court issued notice on 12.05.2026 in the application being MC(RFA) No. 1 of 2026. [3]

This Court has perused the contents of the application being MC(RFA) No. 1 of 2026 and the reason for filing the same is that the counsel for the applicant/appellant has lost contact with the appellant. In the circumstances, they will not be able to pursue the matter on his behalf. [5]
Accordingly, MC(RFA) No. 1 of 2026 is allowed and disposed of. The counsel for the appellant/applicant is discharged and determined to be their counsel in the pending applications. [6]
Registry is directed to issue notice to the appellant (Mr. Suresh Jain) for engaging new counsel or pursuing the case in person. [7]
List the remaining cases on 27.08.2026.
