The instant application has been filed by the applicants/respondents herein seeking extension of time to file objections with regard to release of interest component. 2. For the reasons set out in the application, which is duly supported by an affidavit and in view of what has been argued, the same is allowed. Consequently, the time is extended by three weeks to comply with the order/judgment passed by the Writ Court In Totoinsofar as the interest component is concerned. 3. Application stands disposed of. CCP(S) No. 540/2019 4. Learned counsel for the respondents fairly submits that the judgment passed by the learned Writ Court stands complied with insofar as the retiral benefits are concerned. However, she further submits that insofar HIGH COURT OF JAMMU & KASHMIR AND LADAKH as the interest component is concerned, the same has not been released so far. 5. Since the respondents have already complied with the judgment insofar as the retiral benefits are concerned and only the judgment is required to be complied with to the extent of the interest component, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents has assured the Court that the interest component will also be released within the extended time granted by this Court. 6. Thus, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep alive the instant contempt petition and, accordingly, the same is disposed of by directing the respondents to release the interest component in terms of the order/judgment passed by the learned Writ Court within the extended period of three weeks, positively. 7. Accordingly, the proceedings in the instant contempt petition are closed. Rules, if any, shall stand discharged. However, the petitioner shall be liberty to revive the contempt petition, in case, the interest component is not released within the stipulated time granted by this Court and in that eventuality the Court will be constrained to initiate coercive measures against the respondents. 8.
