In the instant contempt petition, the petitioner has alleged non compliance of order dated 18.12.2017 passed in the writ petition of the petitioner upon its disposal, in terms whereof, the Director, School Education, Jammu was directed to consider the claim of the petitioner on the post of ReT by a speaking order on the basis of habitation within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of order passed while providing further that the respondents shall be at liberty to consider the claim of respondent 5 also against the available vacancy, if any, making it clear that the Court did not express any opinion on the merits of the case. 2. The respondents have filed status report on 01.12.2020 accompanied with order of consideration dated 07.09.2020 and reported to this Court about passing of the said order in presence of the counsel for the Serial No. 34 2 CCP(S) No. 623/2019 petitioner on 24.05.2023 while stating that the case of the petitioner stands considered and consequently rejected. 3. Having regard to the aforesaid position obtaining in the matter, the contempt notice issued is recalled and the proceedings are closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out a remedy against the consideration order, if permissible in law and subject to available cause. 4.
