By means of the present petition, the petitioners seek initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondent-authorities for willful/deliberate defiance of order dated November 30, 2018, passed in SWP No. 2456/2018 (Razaq Ahmed and ors vs. State of J&K and ors.). 2. A bare reading of the order referred to above reveals that the petition preferred by the petitioners was disposed of by the Writ Court with a direction to the respondent-Authorities to accord consideration to the claim of the petitioners within the stipulated time, strictly in accordance with the Rules. 3. Learned counsel for the respondents has shared a copy of the communication dated May 14, 2026, of Senior Superintendent of Police, Poonch (Respondent No.4) appended therewith the Parawise reply (Annexure- A). Copy whereof is retained on record, marked ‘X’. And, per the averments set out in paragraph No. 2, for, the petitioners did not fall in the merit list, owing to low merit, the candidature of the petitioners was not entertained and rejected.
