Present petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.52 dated 29.06.2018, under sections 448, 454, 380 and 120-B of IPC, registered at PS Begowal, District Kapurthala, and subsequent proceedings arising therefrom. 2. Counsel for the petitioners submits that there were total four accused in the present case, namely Balkar Singh, Manjit Kaur, Surjit Kaur and Sukhwinder Singh. However, except of accused Balkar Singh, all other accused were declared innocent during the course of investigation. Proceedings qua the only challaned accused Balkar Singh, have now been finalised, as he has been acquitted vide judgment dated 21.01.2025 passed by learned JMIC, Bholath. Copy of the said order is produced in the Court, and same is taken on record. 3. In view of the above, present petition stands disposed of, as the same having been rendered infructuous.
