Having heard learned counsel for the parties and in view of the report of the Mediator, this Court finds that quashing the complaint will accord a quietus to all disputes between the parties and it is in the interest of both sides to bury the hatchet and lead a peaceful life. Thus, no useful purpose would be served in continuing the proceedings and in order to secure the ends of justice, the criminal proceedings in the present case deserve to be quashed. 5. Resultantly, the impugned and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, including the summoning the order dated 22.08.2019, Annexure P-2, are quashed qua the petitioner on the basis of the compromise. 6. However, the respondent will be at liberty to get the present petition revived, in case of non-compliance of the conditions mentioned in para 7 of the settlement/agreement.
