With respect to the order passed in the writ petition directing issuance of a community certificate to the respondent, the Government had filed the review application. 2.It is the contention that on enquiry, it had been found that the writ petitioner/respondent did not belong to Malai Vedar community, but belong to Hindu-Vedar community, which is a Backward Class community and not a Scheduled Tribe community. A difference is struck between Malai Vedar and Vedar Community, one belonging to Scheduled Tribe and the other belonging to Backward Class. Holding that sense, the father does not belong to the Malai Vedar community and naturally, his wife and daughter and minor son cannot take advantage of the same. 3.Endorsements are made that the writ petitioner belonged to Vedar and it had been classified as he had belonged to Malai Vedar Community.
