“To issue Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to lay integrated rain water drainage without laying concrete cement over the earth and thereby allowing the rain water in the drains to percolate into the soil.”

This Court, in WP No.9126 of 2026, vide order dated 24.04.2026, has already issued directions to the State authorities in this regard and copy of the order was also forwarded to the Secretary to the Government and the Commissioner of Greater Chennai Corporation, as well.
