This writ petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to scrap the existing layer before re-laying of roads in the locality of Perungalathur Town Panchayat under the purview of the 3rd respondent and not increase the present height of the roads in future. 2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner fairly submitted that this writ petition came to be filed with the apprehension that while re-laying the road, if the height of the road is increased, the residents https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No.3595 of 2019 in the locality would suffer, at the time of heavy rains. However, he submits that subsequent of the filing of the writ petition, the road was re-laid and the only grievance of the petitioner would be in future, the re-laying of the roads should be done after carrying out the milling works. The learned counsel for the respondents submits that already instructions in this regard are in place and wherever the road works are undertaken, milling is done and then, re-laying of road is executed. In view of the said submission of learned counsel for the respondents, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the interim application stands closed.
