According to the petitioner, though the representation had already been forwarded to the Revenue Divisional Officer in the year 2018, no action has been taken. The main grievance of the petitioner is that while granting permission with regard to mining clay from Thuppaspatti area, Melapandiyapuram Pond, Chinnakulam, Periyakulam and Naraikinaru, permission has been granted to one S.Pandi, S.Veeraperumal and S.Venkatachalapathi in violation of the Act and the Rules. 3. The learned Government Advocate filed a communication from the Tahsildar along with the A2-Section Mining Permission Register, Ottapidaram Taluk and brought to the notice of this Court that the said permissions granted with regard to the said ponds are found at Sl.Nos.6, 17 and 42 in the said Register. Relying upon the same, he submitted that every permission was granted pursuant to G.O.Ms.No.50 (Industries (MMC.1) Department) dated 27.04.2017. 4. Recording the same, this Court is of the view that no further orders are required to be passed in this Writ Petition.
