At the request of learned Counsel for the petitioner, stand over to 03.09.2026 for further consideration. 2. In the meantime, he shall go through the provisions of the Insurance Ombudsman Rules, 2017, more particularly, Rule 13 and examine whether the issue involved can be adjudicated by the Insurance Ombudsman.” We have gone through the Insurance Ombudsman Rules, 2017 and find that the appropriate remedy available to the petitioner/s is to agitate the grievance before the Insurance Ombudsman. The petitioner/s may also approach the Consumer Dispute Redressal Forum or LIC’s internal grievance redressal mechanism. With the aforesaid liberty, the petitions are disposed of.
