For Petitioners in both cases: Mr.C.K.Chandrasekkar For Respondents 1 to 3 in both cases: Mr.L.S.M.Hasan Fizal, Additional Government Pleader for R1 and R2 Mr.G.Ponnambala Thiyagarajan for R3 For Respondents 4 to 8 in W.P.No.24364 of 2018: Mr.S.Silambanan, Senior Advocate for M/s.Kaviya Silambanan Associates for R4 to R8 2/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 523 of 2019 COMMON ORDER The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2 in both the cases placed on record a written endorsement from the District Collector, Namakkal vide proceedings dated Na.Ka.No.37869/2023/A1, dated 25.03.2026 whereby and whereunder it is stated that pursuant to the orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in C.A.No.9334/2018 to 9336/2018 in SLP (C) No.5588/2006, 5589/2006 and 7651/2006, dated 11.09.2018 and orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in Civil Appal No.251-256 of 2015, dated 12.03.2019 and orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India C.P.(C) Diary No.6415/2021, dated 18.04.2023, the Namakkal District Deputy Tahsildar panels have been redrawn from 2013 to 2022 as per Namakkal District Collector’s proceedings in Roc.No.Colrev /387/2024-1/A1, dated 05.01.2024. 2. 2. By the written instruction, it is further stated that the Deputy Tahsildar’s panels were redrawn in the year 2019-2023 as per the Namakkal District Collector’s Proceedings in Roc.No.Colrev/387/2024-1/A1, dated 08.02.2025. 3. Since the respondents by the aforesaid proceedings placed on record before this Court, have indicated to this Court that the panels of the Deputy Tahsildar’s for the year 2019 -2023 having been redrawn which also reflects the name of the petitioners herein, this Court is of the view that no orders are required to be passed in the writ petitions. 5. Accordingly, the writ petitions stand closed. No costs.
