Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the learned counsel appearing for the first respondent and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 2 to 4. There is no appearance on the side of the respondents 5 and 6. 2.The petitioner contends that he succeeded in civil suit proceedings instituted against the respondents 5 and 6. The said decree was also confirmed in appeal. His grievance is that in order to prevent the petitioner from enjoying the fruits of the civil decree, the private respondents are lodging false complaints under Scheduled Caste and 2/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P(MD)No.10242 of 2019 Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989. He points out that one case was charge-sheeted and ultimately it ended in acquittal. The private respondents filed a criminal appeal and the criminal appeal was also dismissed. 3.There may be considerable substance in the contentions of the petitioner. But, we are not in a position to issue any blanket or general direction. It is for the petitioner to convince the law enforcement agency that the private respondents are misusing the process of law. 4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
