Though none appeared on behalf of the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that in the present case, the possession of the petitioner’s land, which was acquired for the purpose of Electricity Board was taken over and the same has also been handed over to the Electricity Board and subsequently, compensation has also been paid to the petitioner.
