The present application has been filed by the Petitioner under Section 151 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 seeking permission to withdraw the present petition. 3. The Petitioner- Digambar Jain Mahila Ashram is an institution running under the Women and Children’s Institutions (Licensing) Act, 1956. 4. The license of the Petitioner had expired sometime in 2012 and the same was not renewed. However, after the enactment of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015, the Petitioner appears to have certain disputes with the Child Welfare Committee (hereinafter, ‘CWC’). 5. The Petitioner claims to be a minority institution for the Jain community. The challenge in this petition was to various provisions of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 and the Rules framed thereunder. This is a digitally signed order. Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner has given instructions to withdraw the present writ petition as, vide a Resolution dated 18th March, 2026 the Petitioner Ashram has decided to cater to only helpless and deprived women and girls above the age of 18 years including residence, food, higher education, clothing, medical attention etc. 7. In view thereof, the Petitioner has handed over 17 girls to their respective guardians/parents. 8. For the reasons stated in the application, the Petitioner is permitted to withdraw the present writ petition. 9. The GNCTD/CWC is directed to rehabilitate two minor girls namely Kajal and Shivangi to some other institution within a period of one month. Ld. Counsel for the Respondent to communicate the present order. In addition the order be also communicated by the Registry to the CWC of the area. 10. Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with these directions. Pending applications, if any, are also disposed of. 11. The date already fixed i.e. 20th November, 2026 stands cancelled. PRATHIBA M.
