1. By way of filing the instant criminal writ petition, a prayer has been made to quash the proceedings arising out of impugned FIR No.73/2019 registered with Police Station Mansarovar, Jaipur City (South) for the offences under Sections 420, 406, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B IPC. 2. Learned counsels for the parties are in agreement that during pendency of this petition, the parties have settled their
(2 of 2) [CRLW-314/2019] dispute by entering into a compromise on 16.03.2026 and the same has also been executed in writing on the said day. Counsel submits that now the complainant does not want to prosecute the petitioner in the instant case, therefore, the proceedings of the impugned FIR be quashed in terms of the compromise between the parties. 3. Counsel appearing on behalf of the complainant accepts the factum of compromise between the parties and submits that the complainant has no objection in case, the proceedings of the impugned FIR is quashed in terms of the compromise between the parties. 4. Heard and considered the submissions made at the Bar and perused the material available on the record. 5. Looking to the material aspect of the matter that the dispute pertains to personal in nature regarding commercial transaction between the parties and now they have settled their dispute by way of entering into compromise, hence applying the principles of law as laid down by the Apex Court in the case of Gian Singh Vs.
State of Punjab reported in 2012 (10) SCC 303 and The State of Madhya Pradesh vs. Laxmi Narayan reported in 2019 (5) SCC 688, the entire proceedings arising out the impugned FIR No.73/2019 registered with Police Station Mansarovar, Jaipur City (South) for the offences under Sections 420, 406, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B IPC stand quashed and set-aside qua the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, this criminal misc. petition is allowed. The stay application and all pending applications, if any, stand disposed of. (ANOOP KUMAR DHAND),J KuD/59
