1. Heard learned counsel for the respective parties.
2. The petitioner has challenged the order dated 28.05.2018 passed by the Additional Divisional Commissioner. The present proceedings arise out of the action initiated against the petitioner pursuant to the provisions of the Maharashtra Zilla Parishads, District Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1964.
3. In view of the statutory scheme, the petitioner has an efficacious remedy of filing a revision under Rule 15 of the said Rules.
4. Considering the availability of the alternate remedy, the present petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file a revision.
5. Needless to mention that if the petitioner files the revision within a period of eight weeks from today, the time spent in prosecuting the 2026:BHC-AUG:19930
Dilwale 2 70-WP-790-19.odt present petition shall be taken into consideration by the concerned authority.
6. If such revision is filed within the stipulated period, the State Government shall decide the same as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of six months.
