The present application has been filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking withdrawal of the present writ petition and for refund of security amount with interest, on the ground of settlement arrived at between the parties. I.A. 5532/2026 2. It is submitted that during the pendency of the present case, parties herein have arrived at a settlement, and Settlement Agreement has been executed on 21st 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that an amount of Rs. 5.22 Crores has been released to the respondent, as full and final settlement. November, 2025. 4. Learned counsel for the respondent confirms the aforesaid fact and submits that the amount, as noted above, in terms of the settlement between the parties has been received. 5. In terms of the settlement, the parties have confirmed that they have no other claim qua the present petition, against each other. This is a digitally signed order. Accordingly, this Court accepts the settlement and holds that the parties are bound by the terms of the Settlement Agreement entered into between the parties. 7. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that in compliance of the order dated 19th July, 2019, the petitioner had deposited an amount of Rs. 3,68,05,738/- before this Court on 30th 8. He, thus, submits that since by way of the Settlement Agreement dated 21 September, 2019. st 9. Learned counsel for the respondent submits that he has no objection if the aforesaid amount is released to the petitioner. November, 2025, full and final settlement amount already stands paid to the respondent, the aforesaid amount along with accrued interest, be released to the petitioner. 10. Accordingly, it is directed that the amount of Rs. 3,68,05,738/-, along with accrued interest, as deposited by the petitioner, be released in favour of the petitioner by the Registry. 11. The Authorized Representative (“AR”) of the petitioner, through lawyer, shall approach the Registry in this regard. 12. Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn. 13.
