The present application has been moved on behalf of the petitioner under Section 151 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, seeking release of the FDR amount of Rs. 2,00,000/- (Two Lakhs) deposited before the Registrar General of this Court in compliance with the order dated 28th January, 2020. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has argued that in pursuance of the order dated 28th January, 2020, the petitioner had deposited Rs. 2,00,000/- (including interest) with the Registrar General of this Court. The matter has been settled between the parties vide settlement dated 18th November, 2024. As per that settlement the said deposit has to be released to the petitioner. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent submits that he has no objection to the same and the deposit be released to the petitioner. This is a digitally signed order.
