CMP-T No.287 of 2026 By way of present application, the applicant/petitioner has prayed for placing on record the objections to the inquiry report. 2. The respondent filed reply to the application and in the preliminary submissions, it has been averred that the application has been filed at a highly belated stage i.e. in the year 2026, when the main matter is listed for final hearing. It has further been averred that the applicant/petitioner was afforded full, fair and adequate opportunity to defend himself during the departmental inquiry and thereafter an order of penalty was passed. 3. I have heard the learned counsel for the parties and also perused the record carefully. 4. Since the petitioner has prayed for placing on record the objections to the inquiry report, no prejudice is going to be caused to the respondent and as such, the application is allowed and the objections filed to the inquiry report are ordered to be taken on record. 5.
