Ranjan Sharma, Judge Petitioner, Thothi Ram has come up before this Court seeking the following relief(s): (a) Direct the respondents to grant the work-charge status to the petitioner after completion of 9 years service with 240 days w.e.f 01.01.1999 in the pay scale of rs 2520-4140/- with all other allowance applicable to the cadre post including difference of arrears w.e.f 01.01.1999 to 31.08.2005 alongwith 12 % interest. (b) Direct the respondents to pay the gratuity and service gratuity under the CCS Pension Rules, 1972 to the 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 petitioner w.e.f. 01.01.1999 to 31.08.205 and leave encashment after fixed his lastly salary on regular basis alongwith interest @ 12 % per annum.” 2. Upon listing of the case today Learned Counsel informed this Court that petitioner is no more in the land of living.
