Ranjan Sharma, Judge Petitioner, Parkash Chand Dutta, has come up before this Court, seeking the following relief(s): (i) That the action of the respondents No.1 and 2 by allotting the change accommodation in the shape of Set. 18-19, Block No. 17, U.S. Club, Shimla in favour of respondent No.3, may kindly be set-aside and quashed and the respondents no. 1 and 2 may be directed to allot the said accommodating to the petitioner. (ii) That in alternative, the respondents No. 1 and 2 may be directed to consider the case of the petitioner for change of accommodation in Block No. 17, Set 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 No. 20-A. U.S. Club Type-1, Shimla which will fall vacant on 31.01.2013.” 2. Upon listing of the case today, Learned Counsel for petitioner, on Instructions, states that due to subsequent events, the relief claimed by the petitioner, has become infructuous and nothing remains for adjudication in present case. [Statement taken on record]. 3. Prayer being innocuous, is not opposed, by Learned State Counsel. 4. Considering the above, the instant petition is closed.
