Pursuant to the directions passed by this on 09.12.2025 the compliance affidavit dated 22.12.2025 has been filed by the Director of School Education, Himachal Pradesh. Perusal of the para-3 of the compliance affidavit indicates that in terms of Office Order dated 05.03.2025, the petitioner has been held entitled for the pay scale of Rs. 5480-8925 from the date of initial joining as Language Teacher and pursuant to this pay stands fixed vide Order dated 04.04.2025 Annexure [R2/1] and Annexure [R2/2] This matter was listed on 23.12.2025, when this Court had directed the State Authorities to release past arrears for 03 years preceding the date of filing of the petition w.e.f 11.11.2011 onwards on or before next date. The matter was listed on 07.01.2026 and the same has been listed today for 09.01.2026, when Learned State Counsel has placed on record a communication dated 08.01.2026 stating therein that there that entire arrears from 27.08.2002 amounting to Rs. 492.280p and Rs378.819p has been credited in the bank credited in favour of the petitioner and, therefore, there is no pendency of the arrears due from the Department. Even the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 06.01.2026 which is enclosed with the instructions dated 08.01.2026 that entire arrears have been paid and nothing more is due from the Department. In this backdrop, this Court closes the instant petition in view of the fact that benefits of higher pay scale including arrears have been released to the petitioner which is admitted by the petitioner himself that nothing more is due in these circumstances, the petition is closed.
