BEFORE THE NATIONAL LOK ADALAT Gulabi Devi @ Gulab Devi vs Vikesh Chauhan & Ginni FAO (MVA) No.384 of 2019 14.03.2026 Present: Mr. Sativ Chauhan, Advocate, for the appellant. Mr.Pushpinder Jaswal, Advocate, for respondent No.2/NIC with Ms. Sunita Verma, Assistant Manager and Ms. Tanu, Deputy Manager (NIC) Learned counsels for both the parties have stated that they have been authorised/instructed by the parties to compromise the matter before the Bench of National Lok Adalat today. The matter has been referred for determination to the National Lok Adalat. Both the parties have voluntarily and amicably settled the matter with their free consent, will, volition and without any undue influence or misrepresentation. As per settlement arrived between the parties, the parties have settled the matter finally to the tune of Rs.1,50,000/- over and above the awarded amount, which is agreed to be paid by the insurance company within a period of 45 days, failing which, it shall carry interest of 7.5% per annum. Accordingly, matter stands finally settled. Thus, in view of the aforesaid terms and conditions of the settlement, the matter stands finally settled. The terms and conditions of the settlement as above have been explained to the parties/counsel, which they have accepted as correct and appended their signature in evidence of the settlement. File be sent to the Registry of the Hon’ble High Court for doing the needful/consignment.
