Borah, learned counsel, appearing for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. S.M.T. Chistie, learned counsel, appearing for the respondents. 2. The present contempt petition was instituted alleging violation of the directions passed by this Court vide order dated 10.04.2018 in WP(C).No.4124/2017. 3. This Court had directed the respondent authorities to take a decision with regard to the proposal submitted in the matter by the Director of Secondary Education, pertaining to the arrear salaries of the petitioner. 4. Mr. S.M.T. Chistie, learned counsel, appearing for the respondents, has submitted that the verification being made, the petitioner was found eligible to receive an amount of Rs.8,70,750.00 (Rupees Eight Lakhs Seventy Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty) as his arrear salaries. The said amount on being sanctioned by the competent authority, was credited to the bank account of the petitioner on 31.08.2026. Mr. Chistie, in support of his such submissions has placed on record, the instructions received by him from the Director of Secondary Page No.# 3/3 Education, Assam, along with screen shots of the transactions in respect of the amount so effected in the account of the petitioner. 5. In view of the above developments taking place in the matter, this Court is of the considered view that the directions passed by this Court has been duly complied with. 6. At this stage Mr. B.P. Borah, learned counsel, appearing for the petitioner, however, submits that the petitioner is entitled to receive higher amount as arrear salaries and the petitioner be granted liberty to file appropriate proceedings claiming the further amount receivable by him as arrear salaries. 7. In view of the above position, this Court having not found any willful and/or deliberate violation of the directions passed by this Court vide order dated 10.04.2018 in WP(C).No.4124/2017, the present contempt petition stands closed. However, liberty is reserved to the petitioner to initiate appropriate proceedings, agitating his grievance for being entitled to receive a higher amount as arrear salaries. 8.
