1. Heard Mr. S. K. Goswami, learned counsel for the appellants. Also heard Ms. M. Chetia, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Mr. A. J. Saikia,
learned counsel for the respondent No. 1.
2. It is submitted at bar that this matter has been amicably settled between the parties and it has been agreed that the Insurance Company shall pay a consolidated settlement amount of Rs.11,50,000/- (Rupees Eleven Lakh Fifty Thousand) to the claimants/appellants. It is further submitted at bar that in terms of the settlement arrived at between the parties, this appeal may be
disposed of. Same is accordingly done.
3. The respondent/Insurance Company shall deposit the agreed amount of Rs.11,50,000/- (Rupees Eleven Lakh Fifty Thousand) before the Registry of this Court within a period of four weeks from the date of this order.
4. On such deposit, same shall be disbursed to the claimant/appellants by the Registry after proper verification.

5. This appeal is accordingly disposed of.
6. Let the letter dated 11.05.2026 issued by Chief Regional Manager, Reliance General Insurance Company Limited reflecting the consolidated settlement on which both the parties have agreed to settle the appeal be kept in the record as part of it and marked as “X”.
