The present challenge is against an order dated 12.09.2018 passed by the learned Foreigners’ Tribunal (2nd), Morigaon in FT Case No. 32/2017 (Police reference FT Case No. 62/2017 dated 12.09.2017) declaring the petitioner to be a foreigner of post 1971 stream. The matter is pending at the stage of issuance of notice since the year 2019. Ms. Ghosh, the learned counsel has fairly submitted that the client is not in touch and therefore, it would be difficult for her to pursue this matter. In view of the aforesaid submission, the case is closed. It is however made clear that in case the petitioner wishes to pursue this case, he may approach this Court with an appropriate application.
