Agrawal Order On Board 25.08.2026 1. The petitioner has filed this writ petition claiming that he is entitled for two advance increments in lieu of acquiring D.Ed. Certificate at his own expenses after joining the service on the post of Assistant Teacher and after due permission from the State Government. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is entitled for grant of two advance increments as he has passed D.Ed. Examination after due permission from the State Government. 3. On the other hand, learned State Counsel would submit that the State Government has issued circular dated 07.03.2020, wherein it has been clearly stated that the persons who were appointed after 16.06.1993 would not be entitled for the benefit of two advance increments in lieu of acquiring B.Ed./D.Ed. Certificate on their own expenses, as the qualification of B.Ed./D.Ed. became necessary qualifications to get appointment on the said posts. 3 (WPS No. 9015 of 2019) 4. As such, in view of circular dated 07.03.2020, the petitioner is not entitled for grant of two advance increments. Furthermore, circular dated 07.03.2020 has not been challenged by way of this writ petition. Accordingly, I do not find any merit in this writ petition. It deserves to be and is accordingly, dismissed. No cost(s). Sd/- (Sanjay K. Agrawal) Judge @d!t!
