The petitioners have filed the writ petition directing the respondent-authorities for giving age relaxation from age limit 21 years to 18 years in filling up the post of Assistant Teacher, in the interest of justice. 2. Mr. Devendra Swarnkar, learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that in the interest of justice minimum age might be 18 for the post of Assistant Teacher, therefore, respondent-authorities may be directed to do the same. 3. Mr. Rahul Tamaskar, learned State counsel, would oppose the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner and submit that minimum age for the post of Assistant Teacher is governed by the Rules of Chhattisgarh School Education Services (Educational and Administrative Cadre) Recruitment and Promotion Rules, 2019 (for short Rules, 2019) which has not been challenged in the instant writ petition. 4. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and after going through the records, it appears that minimum age for the post of Assistant Teacher is governed by the Rules, 2019 and and in Schedule -III at Serial No.1 of the Rules, 2019, the minimum age 3 WPS No. 4246 of 2019 for the post of Assistant Teacher is prescribed as 21 years and the same has not been challenged in the instant writ petition. In that view of the matter, no direction contrary to Rules, 2019 for giving age relaxation from age 21 years to 18 years can be issued.
