The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking quashment of order dated 19.11.2018 (Annexure P-13) by which the Competent Authority rejected her representation holding her date of birth to be 07.05.1957. 2. Mr. Ravi Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner, would submit that the correct date of birth of the petitioner is 07.05.1959, whereas, the same has wrongly been recorded in her service record as 07.05.1957 which is liable to be corrected for which petitioner had made representation, but the same has been rejected by the respondent-authority. 3. Mr. Pranjal Shukla, learned State counsel, would oppose the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner and submit that in service record as well as in the mark-sheet of Class – 11th of the petitioner her date of birth is mentioned as 07.05.1957 and, therefore, respondent-authority has rightly rejected the petitioner’s representation. 3 WPS No. 3059 of 2019 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties, considered their rival submissions made herein above and gone through the records minutely. 5. Admittedly, the State has filed the reply along with copy of the service record (Annexure R-1) of the petitioner in which her date of birth is mentioned as 07.05.1957 and same is duly signed by her, also in her mark-sheet of Class – 11th petitioner’s date of birth is mentioned as 07.05.1957. Furthermore, the petitioner has filed the instant writ petition on 16.04.2019 for change of her date of birth in the service record from 07.05.1957 to 07.05.1959, however, the same cannot be done at the fag end of the service.
