1. Heard Mrs. Sujata Jena, learned counsel being ably assisted by Ms. Sonali Panda, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. J.K. Bal, learned Additional Government Advocate for the opposite party.
2. The petitioner filed an appeal on 01.12.2017 before the Commissioner, R.T.I., Odisha.
3. In this writ petition, the petitioner prayed for a direction to the opposite party for expeditious disposal of the said appeal.
4. It is submitted by Mrs. Jena, learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner, who was a social activist,
expired on 10.12.2019 and therefore, the writ petition has become infructuous.
5. In view of the above submission, the writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
