BEFORE HON’BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE MR. M. SUNDAR HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE AHANTHEM BIMOL SINGH (ORDER)

The following abbreviations/short forms have been used in this order:
[2]
Mr. Leo N, learned counsel representing the learned counsel on record for MCs applicant in MC(Cont.Cas(C))No.109 of 2018, Mr. Phungyo Zinghkhai, learned State counsel for MC applicants in MC(WA)No.41 of 2018 and Mr. RK. Milan, learned counsel on record for respondent Nos. 1 to 7 in both the MCs are before this Court (physical Court). [3]
This common order will now dispose of the Captioned 2(two) MCs. Sl. No. Abbreviation/Short Form/other references for the sake of brevity/convenience and/or clarity Full Form/Expansion
1. MC Miscellaneous Case (to be noted, MCs in plural and MC in singular) 2 WA Writ appeal
3. WP Writ Petition
4. R1 Respondent No. 1 and similar abbreviations and short forms are used for the other respondents also. [4]
Captioned MC(WA)No.41 of 2018 has been taken out in WA No.6 of
2018. To be noted, WA No.6 of 2018 is directed against ‘a Single Bench order dated 06.06.2017 made in WP No.779 of 2015’ (‘impugned order’ for the sake convenience). [5]
Alleging violation of impugned order, Cont.Cas(C)) No. 237 of 2017 has been taken out. MC(Cont.Cas(C))No.109 of 2018 has been taken out in the contempt case with a prayer to keep in abeyance the contempt case until the main WA is decided and to be noted, prayer in the other captioned MC(WA)No.41 of 2018 is one seeking stay of operation of the impugned order.
[6]
When the matter was taken up, it came to light that as early as 25.09.2018 proceedings/orders have been made by a Hon’ble Single Judge and a scanned reproduction of the same is as follows:
[7]
In the light of the aforesaid 25.09.2018 order and owing to the same operating for over 8(eight) years now, it is more than obvious that captioned MCs have served their purpose and afore-referred 25.09.2018 order which is operating is good enough to give a closure to both captioned MCs. [8]
Captioned two MCs are disposed of as closed in the light of the afore- referred 25.09.2018 order which is reiterated. There shall be no order as to costs. JUDGE
CHIEF JUSTICE
