The present appeal has been filed against the order dated 06.03.2018 passed by the learned Single Judge of this Court dismissing the claim of the appellants. 2. Facts of the case are that the Department of Education of the Government of Punjab issued a public notice for recruitment of 2106 posts for the post of Vocational Masters/Mistresses in which 78 posts have been included in the trade of Vocational Masters/Mistresses Co-operation for the schools in the Sate of Punjab on a consolidated pay of Rs.5800/- (Annexure P- 3) for which the prescribed qualification required was M.A (Co-Operation/Co- operative Management) or M.Sc (Co-operation and Banking) or M.Sc (Agricultural Marketing and Co-operation) or post graduate diploma in Business Administration (Co-operation). The qualification of Higher Diploma in Co-operative Management possessed by the petitioners does not exactly ANIL KUMARmatch with the set of qualification in advertisement, therefore, by deeming 2026.07.15 10:29 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document LPA-1845-2018 (O&M) 2 themselves ineligible for the post of vocational Masters/Mistresses in the trade of Co-operation, the petitioners did not apply for the said post. However, some of the candidates possessing similar qualification of Diploma as with the petitioners were selected. In the present case, appellants are claiming similar benefit as that of the selected candidates. 3. Learned counsel for the appellants submits that the appellants intend to approach the respondents by way of representation that in case it is possible to adjust them, then, effort should be made, hence, the respondents be directed to decide their representation in a time bound manner and their claim be not rejected on the ground that the they have become overage. He further submits that the present appeal may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further with liberty as prayed for. 4. Ordered accordingly. 5. Learned counsel for the respondents/State submits that in case, any representation is received, appropriate consideration will be given and whatever relief is possible to be given to the appellants in the facts and circumstances of the present case, the same will be given to them otherwise due reasons for not accepting the same will be conveyed to them within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of the representation. 6.
