Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C for quashing of FIR No.88 dated 18.06.2016 registered under Sections 406, 506 and 120-B Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Sadar, Jagraon, District Ludhiana. Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Zorawar Singh has apprised the Court that the prosecution has examined 11 witnesses out of total 13 witnesses. The case is now fixed for 03.08.2020. Considering the advance stage of the trial, this Court does not find any reason to exercise the inherent power under Section 482 Cr.P.C. Petition stands dismissed.
