Learned counsel for the petitioners on instructions restricts their claim only to count adhoc service rendered prior to regularisation for the purpose of retiral benefits only. In that regard, he refers to the judgments passed by the Full Bench of this Court in Kesar Chand vs. State of Punjab though The Secretary, PWD (B&R), Chandigarh and Others, CWP-2864-1983, decided on 02.06.1988 & Jai Bhagwan vs. State of Haryana and Others, CWP-1048- 2016, decided on 01.03.2019, against which the LPA was dismissed dated 26.07.2024 and so was the SLP and submits that a representation shall be presented, which may be directed to be decided in a time bound manner, to which learned State counsel has no objection. 2. In view of the above and without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents that in case petitioners submit a representation within a period of 4 weeks, the same shall be considered and decided, within a further period of 6 months, taking note of the judgments relied upon, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner.
