All these three writ petitions are amenable for being decided through a common verdict as they are directed against the same management and assail identical awards dated 02.05.2017, whereby the DEVINDER YADAV 2026.03.27 10:03 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment CWP-3916-2018 and connected cases 2 Industrial Tribunal, although directed the reinstatement of the petitioners/workmen, has rejected their claim for back wages. 2. At the outset, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent No.1/management submits that, with a view to bringing the protracted dispute to a quietus and to uphold its commitment as a model employer dedicated to the welfare of its workmen, the management is willing to offer lump-sum compensation in full and final settlement, quantified at ₹1,00,000/- each to petitioner/workman Sukhninder Singh and Bikramjit Singh, and ₹1,25,000/- to petitioner/workman Sahib Singh. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners/workmen, on instructions, submits that the petitioners/workmen are agreeable to a full and final settlement of the dispute by accepting the proposed amounts as lump-sum compensation. 4. In view of the aforesaid consensus, the impugned awards dated 02.05.2017 are hereby set aside. The respondent No.1/management is directed to remit the agreed lump-sum compensation amounts to the respective bank accounts of the petitioners/workmen, details whereof are extracted hereinafter, within a period of 03 months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, failing which the said amounts shall carry interest @ 9% per annum.
