The prayer encapsulated in the instant writ petition is for the issuance of directions to the respondent(s) to consider the petitioner on par with an Executive Engineer, in view of the judgment rendered in CWP- 4216-2001 titled “S.K. Yadav and another vs. State of Haryana and others”, and also to consider the petitioner’s application for allotment of a Type-9 (Old) house. 2. At the outset, learned counsel for the respondents submits that the petitioner has already been promoted to the post of Joint Director and, therefore, the prayer made in the instant writ petition has become infructuous. 3.
